When your teenager was five, they probably had a very clear idea of what they wanted to do when they grew up. But now that they’re almost there, the prospect of choosing what to do after school can be rather daunting.

Get a job? Do more study? Take a gap year? Maybe an apprenticeship or traineeship?

The best place to start is by talking to your teen’s teachers and school career adviser. There are also plenty of really helpful online resources that can help you steer your teen in the right direction.
